RES Releases Free Powerfuse Express Edition

RES has just announced that they have released the free version of their flagship product Powerfuse called Powerfuse Express. Deploying W2k3 servers with Citrix Metaframe Presentation server automatically, might look difficult, but it really isn't that hard. You don't really need expensive tools, you can just do it with free tools provided by Microsoft. Once you know witch tools to use and witch buttons to press, it is rather an easy and most convenient way to deploy your Citrix Farm.

Due to the feedback that received on this article from readers, my colleagues, and Microsoft, I felt it was time to update it to try to provide more of a best practices guide to implementing LanManServer Tuning. The major update is in the Tuning section where I explain how "overtuning" can introduce other performance problems. I've also modified the .adm templates that, when applied, help prevent the file server from running out of NonPaged Pool.
