This free Microsoft download called the "Rack Server Virtualization Add-in" provides the capability to pull the
rack-server data either from an Excel spread sheet or from the user and

One of the amazing product that I got to know since I started working at Quest is Foglight. Recently Foglight made it into VMware environments by working with my colleagues over at Vizioncore to integrate with their product vCharter. If you are unfamiliar with vCharter (Pro), ZDnet did a small review of this product.

The fact that Server Based Computing and VDI have the potential to drastically lower energy consumption is something that has been known for somewhat long, especially when done in comparison with Thin Clients. The fact that doing "Green IT" is becoming more and more "popular" is making this trait of SBC and VDI become very important.

The Remote Desktop Client for Mac version 2 is finally out of beta and available for download. It took some time but it's really available now. Of course it does not have all the features that the "normal" Windows RDP client has but it still is a nice upgrade.
