Thincomputing.net Search Googlefied
Wednesday, 27 February 2008 by Michel Roth
When I launched the new version of Thincomputing.net some two months ago, I implemented the PHP search function that is native to the CMS I am using. Several of you contacted me to inform that it did not always produced accurate results (kind of like the Citrix support search engine used to be like). So I decided to get the Thincomputing.net search engine "Googlefied"...

I personally use Thincomputing.net a lot to look up information that I know I blogged about at some time. The new Google search function is excellent for this. As any good search tool, it is available from every page on Thincomputing.net in the top-right corner.

Thincomputing.net Search
I hope that this new search functionality provides you with more accurate search results. Also remember, when you have found the article that you were looking for, scroll down to the bottom of the article to find the related items to that particular article. These related items are derived from all Thincomputing.net and matched using keyword indexing and other fancy stuff. It often provides me with interesting links between articles. I love it. But hey, perhaps I am a bit biased ;-)

I hope that the new Google search in Thincomputing.net works for you. As always, if you any other suggestions for Thincomputing.net, drop me a line.
