A couple of days ago I got an email from Warren Simondson from Ctrl-Alt-Del IT Consultancy
mentioning that he has released yet another handy little tool:
TSBackdrop. TSBackdrop allows a Terminal Server User Session to have a
small wallpaper that contains information such as Client IP address,
Client name etc.
At CES 2008, Samsung showed of a monitor. Well, it's kind of a
multifunction monitor. It's also a Thin Client which is nothing really
new. But wait. There's more!
Computer Lab International (CLI) has announced support for (Symantec)
Altiris (Deployment Solution). This support enables the deployment of
images in addition to CLIs own management tool: SNMPAdm (I wonder which
marketing genius came up with that name).
Unfortunately part of life in 2008 will still be the editing of INI
files. No I do not mind INI files that much but the APPSRV.INI of the
Citrix ICA Client just gets under my skin sometimes.
Well this does not happen very often. The Citrix Web Interface has been
along for quite some time now and still it does not really particularly
flashy. The next version of Citrix Web Interface should look a lot
better (check out my article on Presentation Server Delaware for more
information).
