Acquisition of Wyse Finalized, New CEO Appointed

Garnett & Helfrich Capital, a Menlo Park private equity firm specializing in venture buyouts, says it's acquired a controlling equity stake in computer terminal maker Wyse Technology Inc. of San Jose for $35 million.

John Kish, previously a CEO-in-residence at Garnett & Helfrich Capital has assumed the CEO position at Wyse Technology. Mr. Kish is credited with establishing Oracle's Desktop Division.
