Active Session Left After Logging Off the Session When Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Office 2003
Thursday, 02 June 2005 by Michel Roth
Symptoms
An active session might be left after logging off the session when there is Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Office 2003 installed on Citrix Presentation Server.

Note: The issue may occur if a user launches a published application in seamless mode in a Windows 2000 Server environment. The issue does not occur in a Windows Server 2003 environment or others.

Cause
In a seamless session on a server, which has Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Office 2003 (added text service), a session has left as active status so that ctfmon.exe doesn't terminate properly after logoff.

Status
This issue will be addressed in an upcoming hotfix. [#118583]
