Alternative Technology Signs Distributor Agreement With VMware |

Alternative Technology, the leading specialty distributor of access infrastructure and security solutions, announced that it has signed a value-added distribution agreement with VMware, Inc. Under the agreement, Alternative Technology will distribute VMware's data center, software lifecycle and enterprise desktop virtualization products through its network of resellers in the USA and Canada. VMware extends Alternative Technology's current portfolio of access infrastructure and security products with the industry's broadest range of server-based virtualization products.
This agreement follows recent Reader Choice awards by Redmond Magazine in the Desktop and Server Virtualization categories, and Network Computing's 12th Annual Well-Connected award for the VMware GSX Server. VMware was also awarded VARBusiness' 5-Star Rating for its Partner Program.
