Well it is not exactly free. It used to cost you $18 per user on TS. The 2008 R2 RDS CAL is 5% higher than the 2008 RDS CAL that did not include tnis functionaly. This 5% equates to $7,50 you pay extra to use App-V (plus you get all the cool new R2 RDS stuff!!!!). So in essence it is free.

I think you missed that ALL existing 2008 TS CAL customers get the new rights too!
