AppStream Hires Gene Bonacci As Vice President of Sales

AppStream, a company in the same marketspace as Softricity (Microsoft), Citrix' project Tarpon and Altiris SVS, annouced that they have hired Gene Bonacci as vice president of sales.

"AppStream, Inc., a leader in on-demand application deployment and management, today named industry veteran, Gene Bonacci, as its new vice president of sales. Bonacci is responsible for building and managing sales efforts and establishing sales and distribution channels throughout North America and Europe. Building new channel programs with VARs, OEMs and technology vendors is a key strategy for AppStream to lead the application streaming market, a driving force behind on-demand software distribution for PCs.

“Bonacci is best qualified to manage the needs of our customers and channel partners as the growth of the streaming market accelerates,” said Srinivasa Venkataraman, chief operating officer, AppStream. “Bonacci’s contributions will play a pivotal role in growing the company and proliferating streaming as the preferred method for distributing software applications on-demand.”

Prior to joining AppStream, Bonacci was vice president of sales at Wyse Technology and has over 20 years proven sales management experience in the Information Technology industry."
