Athena To Show New High Performance Thin Client Series At Cebit 2007
Friday, 09 March 2007 by Michel Roth
Yup folks, CeBit is coming so all the "revelations" from the different venders are slowly coming in. Athena for example will launch their new line of Thin Clients based on the VIA CN700 mainboards (with supposedly have significantly better (video) performance) together with their new management suite.

"Athena will officially launch its new range of high performance Thin Clients at Cebit 2007 in Hannover. Since May 2006 Athena HW engineers have been working on a new range of mainboards based on the new VIA CN700 chipset. The result is a series of Thin Clients that keep the same design as the current models which will be continued as well.

Together with the launch of the new hardware Athena® will show their new CE.net and XPe versions as well as the brand new TCMS management software for Microsoft® based Thin Clients. Just like the new NLX5 this software will help to further lowering Total Cost of Ownership by delivering superb efficiency, flexibility, ease of administration and better hardware support at a reasonable price."
