BOSaNOVA Announces Two New Additions To The RBT Series Thin Client Line
Friday, 12 January 2007 by Michel Roth
BOSaNOVA, Inc., the market leader in development of Thin Clients and Network Appliances announced today the addition of two new thin clients to its already extensive RBT Series product line.

Powered by the high speed AMD Geode(tm) LX 800 processor, the RBT-802 and RBT-820 offers increased performance and low power consumption in a compact package. Both units are uniquely designed with built-in optional wireless in a small form factor. Weighing in at less than 1lb, these thin clients allow for flexible mounting options and lower shipping cost.

The RBT-802 and RBT-820 are both available with browsers, advanced 5250 emulation, SNMP based management software, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and Independent Computing Architecture (ICA).

The RBT-802 Linux thin client also includes the Thunderbird email client and is integrated with Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) for enhanced printing capabilities. CUPS provides a standard, integrated, printing solution for the Linux environment. Without CUPS there is no standard interface or system in place for supporting printers under Linux and therefore printing can be problematic.

The RBT-820 CE.Net thin client includes MS Office Viewers and allows for the management of multiple browser windows within a single browser instance and 5250 split screen support.
