The podcast covers: • The show is the first podcast of 2006. We've put some new technology in place so that we can publish a show literally within minutes of recording it. Now that we can do that, what should we do with the podcasts? How often should we have them? Who should we interview? • I talk a bit about a current state of the industry. This conversation includes where Citrix is now and where they're going, how Longhorn server will affect things, and what the other third party vendors should do (Jetro Platforms, Ericom, ProPalms, 2X, Thinworx, Graphon, and Provision). We also talk about how Citrix's Smart Access and Advanced Access Control is different (and better!) than the offerings of most other SSL-VPN vendors because they provide access control for applications as opposed to the network. • BriForum 2006 is only a week away. In this show, we provide a quick preview of the event. Download it here.
