Citrix Authorizes Additional $300 Million Stock Repurchase

Citrix today announced that its board of directors has authorized the company to repurchase up to an additional $300 million of Citrix common stock. The company’s Board of Directors has authorized an ongoing stock repurchase program with a total repurchase authority granted to the Company of $1.5 billion, including the recent authorization. As of September 30, 2006, the company had $85 million in remaining authorization from previously approved plans. Citrix said it plans to buy shares on the open market from time to time, depending on market conditions.
