Citrix is still going for the record, the third Service Pack for Edgesight within half a year. Of course it's all about what's in a name because these Service Packs just fix a small number of issues. It's just that the Citrix team calls it a Service Pack and not a hotfix roll-up pack or something like that. This Service Pack is an agent update only so you only have to update your agents, not your Edgesight server or DB server...thankfully. The update is for both the Presentation Server as well as the Endpoint Agent. The agent version number is now 4.2.2936.
Seeing as it is an agent only update, it comes as no surprise that this is a bugfix release only. It does fix one very important bug though which caused some serious delays in logging of a Presentation Server in environments where you use Flex profiles. I'm glad Citrix picked up on this. Additionaly the EdgeSight Agent has been fixed so that it now can be deployed using GPO push to a user as well as to a device.
