Citrix Executive Nominated For 2006 Mass Technology Leadership Award

Citrix today announced that Citrix executive Lou Shipley, general manager and group vice president of Citrix’s Management Systems Group, was nominated for a 2006 Mass Technology Leadership Award.

Lou Shipley has been nominated for the CEO of the Year Award based on his leadership of Citrix’s Management Systems Group, headquartered in Westford, Mass. Lou was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Reflectent Software, which Citrix acquired in May 2006. Through the acquisition, Citrix now offers the leading application performance monitoring software, EdgeSight®, that gives IT visibility into the potential bottle necks that end-users may encounter with applications and the ability to resolve them before they actually occur. Under Lou’s leadership, the EdgeSight product line has become the most widely deployed end-user application performance management solution in the Fortune 1000.
