Citrix Mobile Console
Monday, 05 February 2007 by Michel Roth
The guys over at the New Zealand Citrix User Group have been testing a free Citrix download called the Citrix Mobile Console. The Citrix Mobile Console allows you to manage your Citrix using mobile handheld devices or mobile phones which support the Citrix ICA Client on them. Neat?

Here's what they say about it: "Essentially it's an adapted version of the Citrix Management Console you can access from a mobile (small form factor) device. I've had a play with it today and whilst it is a cool concept the novelty wears off pretty quickly. The small form screen is great for a quick check on the inbox but not really something I want to be squinting at for more than a couple of minutes. That being said I can think of scenarios where the Citrix Mobile Console could come in handy. For example if the on-call support staff share a mobile device they could connect from anywhere (in theory) and provide administration support as required."
