Citrix On Daylight-saving Time Changes in 2007
Monday, 12 March 2007 by Michel Roth
The last couple of weeks have been littered with updates for software regarding the changes to daylight-saving time (DST) that take effect starting on March 11, 2007. This wasn't that much of an issue here in Europe but definitely in the US. March 11, almost was like the Y2K bug all over again. Citrix has released an article in which they cover all their products that require "' DST updates".

"Starting in the spring of 2007, the DST start and end dates for the United States transition to comply with the Energy Policy Act of 2005. The start date changes from Sunday, April 1 to Sunday, March 11. The end date changes from Sunday, October 28 to Sunday, November 4.

Citrix is committed to ensuring compatibility with various operating systems and the DST changes starting on March 11, 2007. As you prepare for these changes, Citrix recommends that you follow the guidelines set forth by the operating systems and software manufactures one intends to use in conjunction with Citrix products. Server and client operating systems should be updated along with the Java Runtime component."
