Citrix Online Names Simon Presswell as Regional VP to Lead EMEA Business

Citrix has announced the appointment of Simon Presswell as regional vice president, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), reporting to Brett Caine, general manager of Citrix Online. Presswell, who brings a wealth of experience in marketing, sales and business development, will be instrumental in spearheading Citrix Online’s expansion and influence beyond its core North American markets.

Presswell will be responsible for Citrix Online’s two lines of business in EMEA: eCommerce and Corporate, encompassing the award-winning Citrix® GoToMyPC® remote desktop access, Citrix® GoToAssist™ remote technical support, Citrix® GoToMeeting™ and Citrix® GoToWebinar™ Web-based collaboration services. He will be based in Citrix’s EMEA headquarters in Chalfont, UK, with all Citrix Online EMEA employees reporting to him.

Prior to joining Citrix Online, Presswell was sales director at G4S (Group4 Securior), a leading international security services company operating in 100 countries, where he directed the UK business. Before that, he was head of development at Cedant Corp., where he was responsible for establishing key sub-brands in the travel sector. Presswell’s expertise in travel and tourism also encompasses positions with lastminute.com, Thomas Cook and American Express. He holds an undergraduate degree in sales and marketing from the University of Hertfordshire.
