The Citrix Online Group of Citrix today announced the opening of a sales office in Tempe near PHOENIX to support the company's aggressive growth strategy.

AMI Partners, a leading industry analyst firm, forecasts continued growth and market acceptance of the software-as-a-service model. "The software as a service or pay as you grow model for applications, including CRM, HR, accounting and collaboration services, offers businesses of all sizes a better way to do more with less," said Laurie McCabe, vice president of AMI partners. "Companies such as Citrix Online will realize even greater growth as they lead with a new breed of productivity applications that empower professionals to instantly access information and collaborate on the go."

Citrix Online chose the Phoenix area based on its highly educated and available workforce, strong transportation infrastructure, positive economic outlook and convenient access. "We're thrilled to be part of the greater Phoenix business community and look forward to providing career opportunities to motivated people in the region who will help us achieve our market potential," said Caine. Citrix Online will continue to employ sales teams at its headquarters in Santa Barbara, Calif. and in key regions throughout the U.S and internationally.

Citrix Online services that the corporate sales team will market include:

• Citrix GoToAssist, which enables instant collaborative remote technical support, on demand, for organizations and their customers;
