Citrix Password Manager Wins The SC Magazine Awards 2006 Europe |

Citrix today announced that Citrix Password Manager™, the most secure, efficient and easy-to-deploy enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) solution for accessing password-protected applications, was declared the winner of the prestigious SC Magazine Awards 2006 Europe in the Reader Trust category “Best Password Management.” Reader Trust winners are decided by SC Magazine readers, who include enterprise CIOs, IT managers and security administrators. With more than 1,300 product and service nominations from more than 330 competing companies globally, the SC Magazine Awards are the world’s leading awards program for the information security industries in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
According to a recent study by PricewaterhouseCoopers for the Department of Trade and Industry, the increase in enterprise security breaches among British companies can be attributed in part to the increasing number of user IDs and passwords employees are required to remember. The study found that employees have on average to remember three different user IDs and passwords, with some having to recall as many as 10.
