Citrix Releases Version 9.237 of the ICA Client For Windows
Thursday, 08 March 2007 by Michel Roth
In response to the vulnerability that was reported in all versions of the ICA client last week, Citrix has released a 9.237 version of the ICA Client for Windows. They did this for the customers that can not upgrade to version 10 (yet).

"Citrix produced a limited distribution version of the Presentation Server Client for Windows, Version 9.237, to assist those customers who are not able to immediately upgrade to Version 10.0 of the client. Citrix encourages customers to upgrade to Version 10.0 as soon as possible. Version 9.237 is meant only to assist with the transition to Version 10.0. Because Version 9.237 will reach End of Life around mid-2007, Citrix recommends that you not rely on Version 9.237 as a long term solution. Therefore, Citrix decided to keep the 9.237 client as a limited distribution release."

"A: In accordance with the Citrix Non-Sales Product Lifecycle Policy, only the latest version of the client is actively maintained. Version 9.xx of the client has reached End of Maintenance as of 2/23/2007 and will reach End of Life around mid-2007. Citrix strongly recommends that you upgrade to Version 10.0 of the client to receive ongoing maintenance and security updates."
