Citrix WANScaler Client Released To EMEA
Tuesday, 02 October 2007 by Michel Roth
After announcing the Software client for the Citrix WANscaler some four months ago, Citrix has announced that as of today the WANscaler client also is available for the EMEA market (I don't know why there are separate releases for separate regions in the first place).

The Citrix WANscaler client aims to dynamically self-tune for optimal performance based on real-time network conditions and incorporates features previously available only in the Citrix WANScaler appliance, such as industry-leading compression, multiple protocol optimizations and advanced TCP acceleration. Note that you do or course need a server with this client, which would be a "real" appliance WANscaler. WANScaler Client suggested retail pricing varies, depending on the size of the deployment.

If you want you can read the official press release here. (I love that there isn't even the smallest hint as to what the WANscaler client exactly does)
