Comparison Between 50 Anti-Virus Products

A site called Virus.gr has conducted a test to compare 50 anti-virus products. The following types of "viruses" were tested:

• MS-DOS viruses
• Windows viruses
• Macro viruses
• Malware (Adware, DoS, Constructors, Exploit, Flooders, Nukers, Sniffers, SpamTools, Spoofers, Virus Construction Tools, Droppers, PolyEngines)
• Scripts ( ABAP, BAT, Corel, HTML, Java, Scripts, MSH, VBS, WBS, Worms, PHP, Perl, Ruby viruses)
• Trojans/ Backdoors

This is the top 5 according to their test results:

1. Kaspersky Personal Pro version
2. F-Secure 2006 version
3. CyberScrub version 1.0
4. eScan Virus Control version 2.6.522.9
5. McAfee version 10.0.27
