Friday, 28 April 2006 by Michel Roth
dataBahn, a pioneer in next-generation satellite communications services today announced a Global Alliance Technology Partnership with Citrix Systems to support customers with reliable satellite broadband services in remote areas.

The combination of Citrix products with dataBahn broadband services leverages strengths of both companies and reaches new customers who previously had limited or no options for VPN, VoIP and other communications needs.

The dataBahn satellite network delivers affordable, enterprise-class broadband services designed to support business applications with high reliability anywhere in North America, Canada, the Caribbean and most of Mexico. The network can connect Citrix users in remote areas where DSL, Cable and other terrestrial connections are not available or are too expensive to install. Oil & Gas, mining, construction, broadcasters and emergency response customers are already using Citrix solutions over the dataBahn satellite network to achieve better connectivity and efficiency of information exchange in remote areas.
