DigitalPersona Pro 4.1 Provides Fingerprint Authentication For Citrix and Microsoft Terminal Service

DigitalPersona today announced the availability of DigitalPersona Pro 4.1 for Active Directory. The new solution extends the security and convenience of DigitalPersona's authentication solution to users who require secure remote access using Citrix and Microsoft Terminal Services (MTS) from wherever they connect to their corporate network. DigitalPersona Pro 4.1 comes with a new version of Pro Kiosk for faster fingerprint recognition at high-traffic, multi-user stations most common in healthcare and retail organizations. Some of its new features include:

Remote Access for Citrix New support for Citrix environments with secure, easy-to-use access to applications through Citrix Neighborhood and Citrix Web Client.

Remote Desktop Access using MTS
Users of Microsoft Terminal Services can now more securely authenticate directly to the server.

Enhanced Pro Kiosk for Multi-User Stations
Healthcare organization employees in nurses' stations and exam rooms will have more secure access for multi-user authentication.

Support for Microsoft SBS 2003
Fingerprint authentication with convenience for small businesses with fewer than 75 employees.
