eEye Digital Security Joins Citrix Alliance Partner Program And Introduces New Products For Secure
Monday, 06 March 2006 by Michel Roth
eEye Digital Security today announced that it has become a Citrix Alliance Partner. Further, eEye has combined its award-winning risk management solutions with the Citrix Access Suite. This combined solution leverages eEye's Retina Network Security Scanner, REM Security Management Console and Blink Endpoint Vulnerability Prevention, eEye's powerful endpoint security software, a version of which has been tailored specifically for Citrix server environments.

The combined solution is designed to enable enterprises to:

• Deliver Complete Secure Access to Any Enterprise Resource
• Enforce Regulatory and Policy Compliance
• Secure Borderless Networks
• Eliminate "Panic Patching"
• Deliver Protection from Evolving Threats
• Protect Networks from Internal, "Socially Engineered" Threats

eEye and Citrix have combined eEye's Retina Network Security Scanner with the Citrix Access Gateway(TM), a universal SSL VPN appliance that leads the industry. This enables an enhanced security audit on endpoints connecting to the Citrix Access Gateway to check for the presence of appropriate security measures, and determine the machine's risk posture before granting appropriate policy based granular access. Additionally, organizations will have the option to install Blink to ensure the protection of both endpoints and the network they are accessing by pushing a Blink agent to the connecting host, either permanently or as an in-memory agent for the duration of the session.

Additionally, to protect the Secure Gateway server (a feature within the Citrix Access Suite), eEye has developed Blink(R) for Secure Gateway, as an extension of the industry's most comprehensive and powerful endpoint security software. Designed as a software agent, Blink for Secure Gateway delivers multiple layers of protection for both the Windows(R) Operating System and IIS web server layers to deliver policy compliance, application protection and signature-less intrusion prevention that doesn't need to learn a system's behavior in order to prevent an attack.
