Ericom PowerTerm WebConnect Appliance To Rival Citrix

Charles Aunger reports from TechEd 2006 In Barcelona that Ericom seem to have come up with a new product. There demonstrating an appliance, called the Ericom PowerTerm WebConnect Appliance.

The basic features are:

� Dedicated appliance uses a hardened Microsoft Windows Embedded Operating System
� Web-based configuration console enables �fast start� installation and configuration
� Single management console simplifies and reduces ongoing support and management
� Application Zone and Portal integration provide intuitive user access to applications
� Supports secure application access with encryption via SSL and user authentication
� A choice of three different appliances to match your requirements:
> Office (up to 100 users)
> Department (up to 1000 users)
> Enterprise (up to 3500 users)

� Load balance multiple appliances to scale up to enterprise-wide access requirements
