Free Script To Edit APPSRV.INI
Tuesday, 08 January 2008 by Michel Roth
Unfortunately part of life in 2008 will still be the editing of INI files. No I do not mind INI files that much but the APPSRV.INI of the Citrix ICA Client just gets under my skin sometimes.
Take for example the fact that there will be times that you need to edit users existing APPSRV.INI files for every single user. This can be quite some work if you're users are all in your domain (literally and figuratively speaking). It gets even worse when the modification pertain to settings for remote users. How are you going change those settings? Well, the only natural option of course is to perform these modifications when they connect to the Citrix environment. To create such a script can be a hassle though (certainly if you're still waiting for that scripting Oscar for your msgbox script). But not to worry: Jason Conger has been at it again!

He's created a nifty script that allows you to edit APPSRV.INI files in an easy and controlled manner. Check it out.
