OSD Editor This is a GUI tool that allows you to open an existing OSD file and edit it. All the possible categories are read from the OSD file and displayed in the appropriate tab. You can insert and/or delete values from the OSD as you like. So you don't have to worry and opening and closing tags or anything like that any more. There are however some fields you can not edit with the OSD Editor. This is by design: these are fields that should never be edited like for example the GUID of the sequence. Additionally, the OSD Editor also educates you on the meaning of some of the XML tags that can be used in Softgrid OSD files. A new and even cooler, version is on the the way that allow you to import scripts and registry files straight into OSDs to easily perform advanced pre/post stream/start/shutdown operations! SFT Explorer By using SFT Explorer you can, it will show all that's inside your SFT package. Files, folders, virtual registry, virtual services ... all! And you can optionally export selected content out of the package, to examine files more closely or to migrate virtual registry settings to another package by importing exported reg-file. LogTools for SoftGrid client The LogTools for Softgrid Client contains two executables to display Softgrid Log information in a more organized matter. The first executable logloade.exe is converting the information into a XML file. The second executable logxml2csv.exe convert this XML file into a CSV file that can be imported in for example Excel. SoftGrid Client Setup With the SoftGrid Client Setup Kit an installation script (vbs) to deploy the Microsoft Softgrid Client on Windows Desktops can easily be created. One of the strong suits of the SoftGrid Client Setup Kit is that it allows you dynamicly determine the size of the Softgrid cache per machine. Read Wilco's article here.
