Hosting Virtual Desktop On XenExpress
Friday, 11 January 2008 by Michel Roth
Today I ran into an article on SearchServerVirtualization.com on the subject of using XenExpress as the platform to host virtual desktops. Consider XenExpress the MDSE of the Xen hypervisor.

Now this article doesn't make XenExpress a VDI platform but it does show some of the steps you need to take to use XenExpress as the hypervisor to host the virtual desktops in a virtual environment. Of course a real VDI environment would need a lot more functionality that XenExpress offers but it is based on the same hypervisor so it gives you a good taste.

The article isn't really earth shattering and only provides a basic overview but if you are new to XenExpress it's just what you need to make the test-drive a breeze.

Read the article here.
