This article describes how to remove the user’s settings icon from the tool bar on Web Interface 4.0. Using this method will prevent users from modifying any settings.

There are two methods of removing this button to customize user’s interface on the application list page. The first one involves some script modifications and will prevent the icon from being drawn. The other is for a centralized configuration setup and can be done by making a simple edit to the configuration file and imported back to the centralized configuration.
