IGEL today announced that it has enhanced its Compact series of products. Containing the latest VIA Eden processor and CN700 chipset with VIA V4 bus technology, the new Compact generation provides an average 30 percent performance improvement over previous generations and new features such as dual monitor support. Starting at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $409 plus tax, the IGEL Compact is the most competitive thin client in its class.

The IGEL Compact series supports Linux, Windows® CE and Windows XPe operating systems and is designed to provide users with high performance, rich digital services, security and outstanding graphics at a very competitive price. This combination has made the Compact series IGEL’s biggest selling product line worldwide.
