IGEL Joins VMware’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Alliance Program

IGEL has joined VMware’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) alliance program. IGEL is one of the last (larger) Thin Client vendors to join VMware’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) alliance. This alliance was formed to offer comprehensive solutions for VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure deployments. The partners in this alliance span a range of technologies, including servers, thin terminals, user management, application provisioning, and related software. With IGEL joining the VMware VDI alliance they join other Thin Client vendors such as;

• Wyse
• Neoware
• HP
• ChipPC
• NEC
• IBM
