IGEL To Present New Generation of Clever Clients On CeBIT 2006
Friday, 17 February 2006 by Michel Roth
IGEL Technology will be presenting its new generation of Clever Clients at the CeBIT 2006 in Hanover (at ETCF's shared stand C 14 in Hall 3). IGEL is offering a newly developed Thin Client generation ready for the CeBIT 2006. All three models Compact, Winestra and Premium now come with the user-friendly Microsoft Windows XPe operating system. This extends the supplier's Clever Client portfolio, and delivers cost-conscious customers solutions incorporating Windows XPe, like the IGEL Compact, for as little as GBP 319.

The doubling of the Flash and RAM storage space in almost all models, ultra-modern VIA Eden CPUs and new sets of graphic chips in the IGEL Smart, Compact and Winestra mean that high end graphics applications can be delivered by Thin Client. A feature never seen before in IGEL Clever Clients is the new native Dual View function. This facilitates the simultaneous use of the DVI and the analog monitor output channels without the need for an expensive additional card, now two monitors can be used with the IGEL Premium Clever Clients, using XP Embedded or Linux. Another new offering at the CeBIT 2006 is IGEL's enhanced and improved Remote Management Suite 2.0. This makes it possible for different privileges to be granted to administrators right from the beginning.
