Inside The Sequencer

Inside The Sequencer... that could very well have been the title of an eighties science fiction movie. Relax. It's not. Inside The Sequencer is a set of articles similar to "Inside the Grid" and teaches everything you ever wanted to know about the Softgrid sequencer.

Inside The Sequencer is also written by Sean Donahue and published at the Softgrid Team blog. Inside The Sequencer, not surprisingly, is all about the Softgrid sequencer. Now before you walk away, do not underestimate the power of the force...ehm sequencer! No really, the sequencer is where it all begins. If for some reason the sequence sucks then not even a ideal softgrid infrastructure can save you. And what's even more, if you work in Softgrid environments a lot I guarantee you that you will be spending at least ten times more time on troubleshooting sequenced applications then you would on the actual Softgrid infrastructure. So it really does pay to know the sequencer inside out.

Part one is about the nuts and bolts on the the sequencer. Part two focuses more on the use of the sequencer: how the sequencer does its magic and how you should use it.
