Jeff Pitsch' Thoughts On Why Citrix Streaming Support Will Be A Success
Wednesday, 11 April 2007 by Michel Roth
Jeff Pitsch has launched a brand new website. To kick it off he has published an article in his blog section about why he thinks that the Citrix Streaming technology will be a hit. I very much agree by the way, just give it some time 1-1,5 years.

"Presentation 4.5 is finally here and the big feature that everyone has been talking about is the included streaming technology. Originally Citrix was only going to allow streaming to the Presentation Servers themselves. Citrix was then going to release a separate product code named Tarpon. This would allow you to stream to your desktops. Then Citrix saw the light and decided that two products were never going to work and I completely agree with that. Who would pay another $400 per user to stream to the clients? I also realize that Microsoft's announcement that for only $10 per user you could implement Softgrid had a major impact on this decision to combine the products. But let's talk about why Citrix's streaming technology will be a hit."

Also be sure to check out another article on his site on how you can design a truly dynamic Start Menu with Access Based Enumeration. This is kind of a new approach. Check it out.
