Microsoft Office 2007 Known Issues
Friday, 17 November 2006 by Michel Roth
Citrix has released a support document on Microsoft Office 2007 issues with Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. Known issues are:

• File Type Association (FTA)–File extensions for Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 2007 do not show up in Access Management Console Content Redirection tabs.
• Microsoft Word 2007 Quick Parts insertions and fields are replaced by strange images when highlighted inside an ICA session.
• The Microsoft Word 2007 Paste command performs the paste action from the Presentation Server Console clipboard.
• There is a Microsoft Word 2007 performance issue with memory utilization when using Installed Templates in an ICA session on a multi-monitor client.
• 100 percent CPU utilization is caused by csrss.exe and wfshell.exe when trying to launch Microsoft Word 2007 with content redirection enabled. This requires a hard server restart to free the processor.
• Some Microsoft Office 2007 features, such as Quick Parts and ClearType, are not working in a Citrix Presentation Server environment. Citrix will address all such problems.

This document will be updated as new information becomes available.
