Tuesday, 29 May 2007 by Michel Roth
Neoware today announced the upgrade of its most popular thin client devices to a new technology platform that improves the thin client computing experience. The new Neoware c50, Neoware e90 and Neoware e140 are available with more memory and speed at the same price. The Neoware c50, Neoware e90 and Neoware e140 thin clients now include DDR2 RAM, which increases their speed by up to 25% compared to older DDR RAM. In addition, the new platform boasts a minimum of 256 MB of RAM providing greater performance and memory than competitive models that offer only 128 MB of RAM.
With all these enhancements the new models use 10 percent less power.

The low-end c50 starts at $259, while the e140 has a starting price of $549. The company plans on selling its thin-client PCs through direct sales, channel partners and its partnership with Lenovo.
