New .print Engine 7.0 For 64-bit Environments Available
Wednesday, 19 July 2006 by Michel Roth
The new version of .print Engine is now available for 64-bit platforms. Aside from the tried and tested features of compression, bandwidth control and SSL encryption of the print data, the new version 7.0 offers, for example, a tool for analysis of the printing costs in the network. With the tracking service, printing usage and output volume in the network can be registered. Clear, graphical preparation and analysis are carried out via a web component. Additional features decrease administration and support costs, thereby reducing printing costs.

Since the 64-bit application server engine also ensures the ability to use 32-bit printers, the solution minimises the costs for new investments in hardware.
