If you are a Citrix customer (or someone that consults Citrix customers) you have probably come across the question "should I renew my Presentation Server Subscription advantage or should I upgrade to a higher version of Presentation Server"?

Well, as it turns out Citrix wants to help you along as much as they can in helping you decide to upgrade to a higher version of Presentation Server. Go figure. No, seriously, they created a web page where you can calculate the savings you can get if you use your Subscription license budget to upgrade to a higher version of Presentation Server in stead of just renewing. The key thing here of course is that all upgraded editions of Presentation Server include the first year of Subscription Advantage. You knew that right?

Which, if you think about it, makes sense. Existing customers should be able to easily determine what the upgrade costs are when their renewals come around. This way they can decide whether there is enough value to upgrading or not.
