Last October I wrote about something called "Project IRIS." IRIS stands for ICA Recording / ICA Surveillance, and it was a technology project that Citrix was working on to help companies meet compliance and security requirements. Basically, project IRIS records ICA sessions (or parts of ICA sessions) in an encrypted format that can be archived. Then, if people think that the user is doing something they shouldn't, they can play back the recordings to see what the user was doing. Project IRIS is becoming a usable piece of technology. In fact, Citrix plans to release a technology preview on July 18 to current customers via mycitrix.com. This is an interesting product that covers some sensitive areas, so by releasing this preview, Citrix is hoping to get feedback from the community about IRIS. Read it all here.
