Querying SMS Clients For Softgrid Applications

With Softgrid becoming more and more popular for use in desktop environments (you gotta to love software assurance) people also start to share more and more information about integration with other products. Take SMS for example.

The Softgrid Blog reports that a very clever guy called Christiano has published a custom SMS MOF extension to be able to query SMS clients for “installed” Softgrid applications. With this MOF file and the appropriate scripts you can get historical information of applications being executed, when a particular application was deleted, when it was streamed, etc. Cool stuff!
