RemoteApp Filter is an extension to the TS Web Access feature provided by Microsoft in its new Windows 2008 Server. RemoteApp Filter make it possible to filter out applications that are not supposed to be shown to particular users or groups of users. It works with XML-based configuration file with a number of entries corresponding to published applications. Each entry specifies which users or groups should NOT be shown these particular applications. When a user opens the TS Web Access starting page in a browser, the list of applications are filtered according to the specified rules in the XML configuration file. All applications that have explicit denial entries for the users or groups they belong to are made are hidden on the starting page.

TSRemoteApp Filter works only for denying groups. If you have a user that is part of two groups and two applications are exclsuively allocated against each group then it doesnt show either.

I am sorry, I just cannot believe they'd start with 'DenyGroup' rather than 'AllowGroup' - this is well backward. Also they said they'd include support for AllGroup over a year ago and nothing has happened at all!
