Script To Backup And Restore Citrix Policies

Probably a lot of the people reading this have been in the situation where they needed to inventory an existing Citrix farm. This can be quite a hassle to do, especially if you need to export and import Citrix policies. You probably know that there are free tools to help you do this like the PS4 Documentor or the Citrix Farm Inventory Toolyou could try, or if you have older farms, then you could give the Citrix MetaFrame Information Exporter a spin. And if you need some real horse power, then you should spend a few dollars and try Centralis Harvester.

All of these tools are great but none of these are possible to export and import Citrix policies. And trust me, there are cases when you really want to! But there's hope. a guy named Mark Elliott has written a couple of VB scripts that backup and restore policies stored in a Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 or 4.5 farm and made them available for download at BrianMadden.com.
