Setting Up A VDI Proof Of Concept
Wednesday, 21 November 2007 by Michel Roth
Today I ran into a detailed article that views settings up a Proof o Concept VDI environment from the client perspective. A Thin Client, perspective that is. A Wyse Thin Client perspective, to be even more exact.

Typically a VDI solution exists of a Virtual hosting platform, some kind of connection broker and a client. This client can be any kind of device, including a Thin Client. The article I ran into comes from a website called "freewysemonkeys.com" so it should be no surprise that they are using Wyse Thin Clients as their client in this article about setting up a VDI Proof Of Concept.

The article mentions settings up the environment using ESX Server with the Leostream connection broker and the Wyse V10L Thin Clients. This client has great VDI capabilities in that it supports many different connection broker vendors and has the WyseTCX Multimedia support for ESX tools 3.0.2.
