Several Citrix Support Articles Address Wyse Related Issues

Several new Citrix support articles have been created to address several issues that are being experienced with Wyse Thin Clients:

Graphics Refresh Issues with Wyse WinCE Device
ICA sessions experience graphic refresh problems. Example: When text boxes are moved on the screen, the frame around the text box is not properly deleted. The more the text box is moved, more frame fragments become visible on the screen.

Scrolling Causes Improper (Choppy) Screen Refresh on a Wyse Terminal
When using applications such as Internet Explorer (large Web pages), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Word, a lag appears in the screen repaint when the scroll bar is selected to move the page down. This issue has been seen with the Wyse CE Device. This issue is not seen with the full 32-bit Client for Windows.

Wyse CE Clients Cannot Achieve True 1024x768 Screen Size

When attempting to make an ICA Desktop connection from a Wyse CE device, (in new desktop mode) with the display settings set to 1024x 768, the largest screen size that maybe achieved is 1024x763 (five lines from the client’s start bar). When connecting to the session with RDP the session’s start bar is not visible. (receive scroll bars) When connecting with the Full client similar results are achieved – the maximum screen resolution is 1024x711 due to Start bar and Window bar.
