Sneak Preview - NetApp RCU 3.0

A tool that run into quite often is the NetApp Rapid Cloning Utility. They are working on a new version. This is a sneak preview.

Earlier today we announced further integration with VMware View 4, along with NetApp RCU 3.0. Version 3.0 will provide enhance end-to-end storage provisioning from within vCenter by adding support for iSCSI, FC, along with NFS in vSphere (VI3 supports all today). This expands upon previous whitepapers that we co-branded with VMware, which highlighted not only integration but also the ability to drive down the overall cost of Virtual Desktop solutions.

The cloning capabilities of the RCU are enhanced beyond virtual servers and desktops to now include support for updating a single master image and updating deployed desktops.

RCU 3.0 supports vSphere, VI3, View Manager & XenDesktop, vWorkspace, and more...
