The License-File Mechanics Of Subscription Advantage

Ever wanted to know all the ins and outs of the gibberish in the Citrix license files? Well this post by a Citrix developer sheds some light on the subject, specifically on the Subscription Advantage section of the license file.

"In this post I'll give a brief overview of the license-file mechanics of Subscription Advantage for Access Essentials customers, and along the way try to explain what 'current' means. All of the information we're going to discuss is contained in the .lic files downloaded from MyCitrix.com. If you've already installed your licenses, you can find them in the C:\Program Files\Citrix\Licensing\MyFiles folder. Here's an example:
