ThinCCo AG Enters Thin Client Market

Swiss startup ThinCCo AG has entered the thin client market with the announcement of two devices running Windows CE 5.0. The Tisio CE90 terminal and Tisio E300 laptop come "fully equipped with all the software and utilities [needed] for efficient and productive business connections," the company says.

The CE90 terminal client is based on a mini-ITX motherboard with a 667 MHz Via C3 processor. Additional features and specifications, according to ThinCCo, include:

• Memory
128 MB of DDR333. Max. capacity 1 GB

• Display:
VGA out, 1600 x 1200 resolution, 32-bit color
Up to 64 MB shared video memory

• Storage -- 64 MB IDE flash disk

• I/O ports:
10/100 Ethernet, RJ45
4 USB 2.0, 2 front, 2 rear
2 serial, 9-pin D connector
PS/2 keyboard and mouse
Parallel port
AC97 6 channel audio -- line in, line out, mic in

• Dimensions -- 8.39 x 2.52 x 9.21 inches (213 x 64 x 234 mm)

• Power -- 90 to 260 VAC, 25W typical
