You could consider mobile phones thin clients. If they aren't now, they will be in the future. ThinPrint called Content Beamer which allows users of mobile devices to view email attachments with images and photos, download them, print or fax them, and send signed faxes:

"With ThinPrint’s Content Beamer 3.0, users of mobile devices can view email attachments with images and photos, download them, print or fax them, and send signed faxes. At their workplace PCs, employees need access to emails, attachments, and company documents, and they want to read, print, or fax them. With the new version of Content Beamer 3.0, the Mobile Computing experts at ThinPrint now introduce a software solution that enables mobile devices to carry out these important office activities, as well. Users with a mobile phone or PDA can view their email attachments including embedded photos and images, without having to download them from the server and without having to open a particular application on the mobile device. The patent pending “Remote Documents” technology also ensures compatibility with any email push solution, minimal data volume, and receipt of the original file. The file can then be printed via bluetooth or the network, faxed, displayed on a notebook screen, or downloaded to the device for editing. A “short fax” function makes it possible to send signed faxes via GPRS or UMTS. "
